Serengeti may be a word you might have heard of in relation toTanzania, and today you will be able to experience it up close. “Serengeti” is a Maasai word that means “Endless Plain” because it represents the vast plain close to the horizon. It covers an area of approximately 14,763 square kilometers and consists of three parts; Northern, Southern and Central (Seroneira). The Serengeti is famous for the existence of the “circle of life”,  as evidenced by the “Great Migration”.

Since you are in the middle of the Serengeti, you will have the best experience in the heart of the Serengeti plains. It is famous for the large hybrid wildebeests that migrate from Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve to the Serengeti via the Mara River every September to January or early February.

If you are interested in seeing big cats; then the Central Serengeti is the place for you. Filled with knolls and rock faces; it is a resting place for predators. Seroneira is also a great place to watch the African sunrise from a hot air balloon while observing animals coexisting on the horizon. You will be living out moments  from The Lion King with this unforgettable view.

During these 2 days; you will have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti and spend 2 nights in Pure Serengeti before returning to Arusha. We hope you had a great time in Tanzania and made great memories.
