You will arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, stop by the passport control desk for apassport check. Please,make sure your passport is stamped before you leave the desk. This will help you to have enough energy for the first day of your safari as you explore parks. Your safari guide will always be there for you from the beginning to the end of your safari.Please, let your guides know if you have any worries or concerns. You will meet your safari guide as you step out of the Immigration area and your guide will be holding up a sign with one/both of your names. Walk direct to your safari vehicle and drive to Haradali Home for dinner and overnight.
This is a day to relax and explore Arusha. You can visit Arusha Market, Maasai Market or Cultural Heritage. All meals and your overnight stay will be at Haradali Home.
We hope you had a quiet and nice sleep, it is your first morning in Africa, are you excited? At Haradali home, you will never be bored, the owners also live in the same compound and they will make sure you hav a beautiful time!
On your way to the dining area, the staff will say Jambo to you, just repeat the wordJambo which means, How are you? You will have your breakfast and thereafter you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Your safari guide will make sure you have a packed lunch as it will give you an opportunity to spend more time for on the game drive. The distance from Haradali to Tarangire Park, will be a drive of approximately 2 hours. Upon your arrival at Tarangire, your safari guide will head to the Tanzania National Park office for registration, you can then use this time to explore the area which has a lot of information displayed.
Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit. In the evening drive to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Lake Manyara National Park is one of the beautiful parks that stands out because of its vegetation. You will also see different animals and mainly baboons. Lake Manyara also adds to the beauty of the park! . You will have a full day exploring the park and a late afternoon drive back to Haradali home in Arusha for your overnight stay.
